St. Tiarnach’s Primary School, Clones is a co-educational school located on Roslea Road, Clones. – formerly Scoil Chroí Ró Naofa (which was an amalgamation of St. Louis JNS and Scoil Mhuire SNS) until move to the new Generic Repeat Design school in February/March 2008.
An extension of 4 classrooms followed shortly afterwards and now 12 classrooms are in operation currently with 2 ASD classrooms included. September 2017 saw the further development of inclusive education with the pupils of Réalta Beaga (Early Intervention) and Réalta Móra (ASD).
With wonderful playground and garden space St. Tiarnach’s provides education for 265 pupils in curriculum, social, religious, moral and physical education.
St. Tiarnach’s, named after the Patron saint of Clones, continues in the strong education ethos of this location on the Roslea Road.
Currently we have 12 nationalities attending our school where all pupils are cherished and nurtured.
