This week, pupils and staff participated in lots of activities for Engineers Week. Yesterday, 4th and 5th class were invited to Clones Library to meet an engineer from Monaghan County Council. He told us all about different types of engineers and the pupils did an engineering experiment with marshmallows and cocktail sticks! 3rd class made their own boats for a floating and sinking experiment and 6th, 3rd and 1st class worked in groups to make the strongest and biggest structure that they could out of paper cups and paper. Well done to everyone and thank you to Clones Library for organising yesterday’s event.
