Frásaí Baile – Useful Irish Phrases to use at Home 2018-04-16T14:51:33+00:00

This is the year of  ‘Bliain na Gaeilge’ a special year set aside for celebrating the 125th anniversary of the Irish Revival.  We in St.Tiarnach’s are playing our part in keeping our language alive for the next generation and we are asking you to get involved.  Below is a list of Irish phrases for use at home and we are asking you to try and include some of these into your daily lives.  Give your child the chance to use the Irish they learn at school in a real life, purposeful setting.  Using just a ‘Cúpla Focal’ can help children foster a love and respect for our native language….Play your part!
