GAA/Sports Day

Last Friday the pupils of St. Tiarnach’s P.S.  had a GAA/Sports Day in St. Tiernach’s Park. The pupils took part in a range of activities- obstacle courses, relay races, Gaelic football games and skill challenges. Thank you to Clones GAA Club for their support in the organising and coaching throughout the day.

Special thanks to Colin McCaughey, Darragh Holland and Joanne Reihill and to all the coaches who gave up their time to help out.

Special guests on the day were Monaghan GAA players Colin Walshe, James Mealiff and Ryan McAnespie.

Well done to Múinteoir Diarmuid and Múinteoir Phillip for organising the event. All pupils had a wonderful day in St. Tiernach’s Park and were treated to a well-deserved ice cream on their return! Maith sibh!
