Active Schools Homework!

We are doing lots of walking and running around the school as part of our new initiative to ‘be active’!

At home, we suggest that the children practice their running and walking skills together with their brothers and sisters.

The correct teaching points for walking can be found here: https://www.scoilnet.ie/uploads/resources/21886/21609.pdf

We often sing songs and rhymes, count and talk about all of the things that we can see when we’re out walking or running together. The children love looking out for animals and flowers around the school.

We have been enjoying painting and putting the animals into our sensory play trays.

Some pictures of what we have been getting upto this week! We have been enjoying the Autumn sunshine and playing outside!

Welcome to Réalta Beaga – Early Intervention! You will find us in Room 11. We have a very busy and active classroom and love coming to school every day to learn and have fun! This year we welcome Ella back to school and also welcome Arseniy, Ray J & Joey to St. Tiarnach’s! If you see us in the yard or at school, please say hello!

We are all enjoying settling back into school life. In our classroom Múinteoir Michelle, Shauna & Claire are here to help and teach us lots of new things. Take a look at some of the activities we have been getting up to so far!
