The ‘Time to Read ‘ programme has now come to an end. The children have now completed 8 weeks of reading, had a site visit to ABP and had a trip to the library with their volunteers from ABP . The children thoroughly enjoyed their reading sessions each Wednesday and read a wide variety of books. The site visit to ABP was definitely a highlight for the children. The children had the chance to see where their volunteers work and learned about their jobs. To conclude the tour, the children were treated to a delicious meal and a very generous goodie bag sponsored by ABP. A huge thank you to ABP and their very kind volunteers for taking part in this wonderful initiative. Without a doubt, it has been a huge success and has been enjoyed immensely by all the children.
